Bangkok, Thailand — Dr. Akshay Shinde, Founder and Chairman of the Global Vision Trade Organization (GVTO), recently visited Ramkhamhaeng University with his friend Jon and Jon’s business partner, who are preparing to establish a new factory in Thailand.
This first introductory visit focused on creating employment opportunities for university students and recent graduates. Once the factory begins operations, Jon and the business partner plan to recruit suitable candidates from the university and offer opportunities for employment, internships, industrial training, and practical workplace exposure.
Continuing the Momentum of the India–Thailand Business Conclave 2026
The visit continues the academic collaboration initiated during the India–Thailand Business Conclave 2026, organised by GVTO at ProPak Asia 2026 by Informa Markets and powered by People’s Reflections.
Representatives from several Indian and Thai universities participated in the Conclave, where they exchanged ideas, developed institutional relationships, and expressed interest in working together. The event provided an important platform for universities from both countries to take the first step—or “handshake”—towards meaningful international collaboration.
The proposed areas of cooperation include:
- Student and faculty exchange programmes
- International internships and employment opportunities
- Industry-oriented training and skill development
- Joint research and innovation projects
- Academic conferences and knowledge-sharing programmes

Connecting Students with Employment Opportunities
Jon and the business partner intend to create career opportunities for students when their new factory becomes operational. The proposed collaboration with Ramkhamhaeng University may include graduate recruitment, internships, factory visits, technical training, management opportunities, and industry-based academic projects.
GVTO will support the initiative by connecting the university with industry representatives, coordinating future discussions, and helping develop structured employment and training programmes.
