Mumbai, India โ The Global Vision Trade Organization (GVTO) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), an apex body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The collaboration aims to promote international knowledge exchange, student and faculty exchange programmes, global industry exposure, and institutional partnerships in packaging, manufacturing, trade, and allied sectors.
GVTO’s Support Under the MoU
- Organizing international knowledge-exchange programmes
- Facilitating student and faculty exchange opportunities
- Connecting IIP with international universities, ministries, trade organizations, and industry associations
- Coordinating international delegations at the IIP Mumbai campus in Andheri
- Creating participation opportunities at global trade shows and conferences
- Supporting international B2B meetings, industry visits, and institutional collaborations
Delegation to ProPak Asia 2026
As part of this initiative, GVTO and IIP also planned an Indian delegation to Thailand for ProPak Asia 2026, creating opportunities for students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives to gain international exposure and explore new technologies, markets, and partnerships.
Leadership Behind the Collaboration
The collaboration was led by Dr. Akshay Shinde, Founder and Chairman of GVTO, together with Mr. Shekhar Ambekar, Deputy Director and Head โ International Packaging Centre, Indian Institute of Packaging.
This MoU represents an important step towards connecting Indian packaging education and industry with global institutions, international exhibitions, government bodies, and emerging business opportunities.
