1Common Platform for Talent & Industry

The drive received an excellent response, with 2,300 students applying for employment opportunities offered by 47 participating companies from various industries.

Connecting Students with Employers

The employment drive created a common platform for students, recruiters, academic representatives and industry professionals. Participating students had opportunities to explore different career options, understand employers’ expectations and interact directly with company representatives.

The initiative was designed to bridge the gap between academic education and industry requirements. It also helped companies identify talented young candidates for internships, entry-level positions and future employment.

Dr. Akshay Shinde Guides Students and Volunteers

During the employment drive, Dr. Akshay Shinde, Founder and Chairman of GVTO, addressed students and volunteers and explained the important role of job fairs in building successful careers.

He encouraged students to view the drive as more than a recruitment event. He highlighted that a job fair is also an opportunity to understand industry requirements, develop professional confidence, improve communication skills and establish meaningful connections with employers.

Dr. Shinde also guided the volunteers regarding their responsibilities in registration management, candidate coordination, employer assistance, interview scheduling and communication between students and participating companies.

“A job fair is not simply about receiving a job offer. It is a platform where students can understand the professional world, interact with employers and identify the skills they need to develop. Every interaction can become an important step towards a successful career.”
